Surprising Turnout Despite Ondoy
The rains came down with a vengeance. It was in fact a record breaking rainfall. With almost 13 inches of rain in six hours. The BBC report explained that the last time this happened was 1967.
HOWEVER, that didn’t stop everyone from coming to the event soaking wet or not.
There was still a surprising turnout of die-hard OP7 players. The tournament was packed with these die-hards demonstrating quick strategic kills and properly executed ambushes. These players that braved Typhoon Ondoy were dead set on bagging the P25,000 cash prize .
Every step of the way had it’s ups and downs. Blessings and curses came and went with every fluctuation of the electricity. Meaning the current match had to reset.
RESETS happened often enough that the gamers had to adapt. Getting their kills in as fast as they could.
The mostest of the hardcore gamers were our winners, Team “Who’s Next?”. These four boys beat everybody else that showed up including The AMATS Team.
