The PGL (Pro Gaming League) held its first dry run of what will be the 1 Million Peso Tourney. The test run was necessary to see what problems may come up when the whole thing unfolds. Of course dahil may isang milyon on the line dapat anticipated na lahat ng pwedeng mangyari.
Various leading clans from DOTA and OP7 were invited to the said event.
PGL will be aired by GMA, kaya kahit sa dry run pa lang may presence na sila. PGL will be one of the first National Gaming Leagues to tie up with a local TV network, so ito na ang pagkakataon nila para malaman kung paano ang actual filming process kapag nagsimula na PGL tournaments.

Kahit ang mga kulay ng jackets na gagamitin sa tournaments may importansya din. Iba talaga pag televised!

All-Girl Team of PMSKI with their manager. These chicks may look cute and harmless in pictures but it should be known they can kick some serious behind in DOTA. With some practice they can take Operation7 to another level.
The Tournament started at 1 in the afternoon with Mineski vs Who’s Sex. Mineski Dominated DOTA since it was their forte but the team Who’s Sex had the edge in Operation7. Eventually, Mineski beat the strangely ambiguously named team in the end. Mineski won 110 – 95
The next battle started immediately with the all-girl team PMSKI vs Aceplayers (formerly known as Fairview Gaming). PMSKI led the game first half. However the golden boys learned quick and eventually turned the tides. Winning DOTA in the first round and their expertise in Operation7, got them the final win. Aceplayers won 130 – 35
In the final battle, it was a “Clash of the Titans!”
Mineski vs Aceplayers. The DOTA match had the Aceplayers giving a surprise early challenge on the defending DOTA Champions But Mineski are seasoned veterans and had the home turf advantage so they took the match to a different level and all the way victory. Next stop, Operation7. The Aceplayers, being the defending OP7 Champions showed no sign of taking chances and pounded Mineski from start till the end of the match, resulting to a love set victory. Aceplayers won the PGL Dry-Run Tournament Championship 95 – 50.
Aceplayers emerged victorious. But that doesn’t mean they’ll be taking away the Million Peso Cash Prize.
With the list of players vying for the loot, one OP7 GM has this to say, “Last Saturday I just saw a lotta promising players.” And that’s the opinion from the inside!
PGL should draw out the best of the best, which means it’ll be the most exciting gaming tournament for this year. Congratulations to all players who attended the dry run, and Good Luck to them when the PGL Tournaments starts.
Thanks to those who were able to attend:
PMSKI, Mineski, Who’s Sex, and Aceplayers
We would like to give credit to:
GMA7, Mineski Infinity, and Operation7 Team for a job well done!
